Nick Green | | WHAT'S THE NEXT LINE? So here we all are collectively drowning our sorrows,
Pawning our yesterdays, borrowing from our tomorrows...
Singing along cos we all know the song,
Four score and ten doesn't seem all that long,
When your one score and ten and there's still something wrong,
What's the next line? Who's keeping time? When I was younger I planned out the days yet to come,
And I thought that by now there'd be somebody else I'd become,
But the child is still with me, still watching and waiting,
Only my outside is dying and dating,
wrapped in each winter I still dream of skating,
What's the next line? Who's keeping time? Whither the way now the question on everyone's lips,
In these days when you find both Devils and Gods left in skips,
The only thing left to believe in is money,
